Asian Paints Launches New Fabric & Furnishing Verticals

Adding to the already impressive fabric portfolio are 36 new lines under Ador. The highlight of the new lines launched in 2023 are a range of colour books – yellow, blue, teal, green, pink and rust – as well as different techniques on fabrics with different hues of the same colour. The new lines include heavy embroidery, corduroys and ribbed velvets, multicoloured chenille stripes, Boucle and Denali – designed foils. Another 15 new lines were launched under the Pure Royale range which includes Tupi fabrics and wallpapers inspired by natural colours and the rainforests, Mirabell fabric and wallpaper coordinated collection inspired by an English country house style, and Cleves collection which features 15 Crewel embroidery fabrics. Under The Pure Concept range is the Wabi Sabi concept while seven new lines will be launched under the Nilaya range.

Wall Coverings and Floor Coverings

The premium selection of Nilaya wall coverings by Asian Paints includes signature collections and collaborations with Sabyasachi and Good Earth. This year sees the launch of a slew of new wallpaper collaborations including Pierre Frey, Sanderson Design Group, Casamance, GP & J Baker, V&A by 1838 Wallcoverings, Eijffinger, York Wallcoverings, Fine Decor Wallcoverings and Marburg. Their in-house Ador brand is also launching a line of wallpapers. There is also an exclusive collection of hand-tufted and hand-knotted floor coverings by Jaipur Rugs for BH Studio. The latest launch sees a new range of sizes and an architectural edit of jute rugs. There are also bolder designs inspired by 7 themes of nature to choose from. Another launch that is in the works is an exclusive collection of machine-made rugs.

Bed Linen

Sarita Handa’s exquisite bedding collection for BH Studio features the perfect blend of traditional opulence and contemporary flair and draws inspiration from India’s rich tapestry of patterns. This year’s launch of bed linens by Nilaya under their Royale and Ador ranges sees over 600 SKUs added to the universe of bedsheets, luxury bedding sets, bedspreads and wedding-gifting collection across different thread-counts from 144 to 1000. The design language is spread across Aztec, Batik, Kilim, new age geometrics, florals, ombre, ikebana, tropical, ikat, chintz and Indian Block Prints with over 60 textures including jacquards and dobby. A new colour palette of around 100 solids has also been added to the impressive roster.

Upholstery and Window Coverings

Adding to the list are 20 unique collections of furniture upholstery that feature a variety of fabric-making techniques, weaves and curated colours. Royale window coverings by Asian Paints is launching a collection of made-to-measure curtains and blinds including smart-technology-enabled offerings. A wide range of colours and textures see beautiful Indian prints, tone-on-tone, nature-inspired, soft floral, abstract and contemporary geometric patterns. And to keep your precious fabrics pristine, Asian Paints is launching the latest nanotechnology-based product - SmartCare NanoProtek. This spray treats your fabrics to be water-repellent and stain-resistant. It is available both at the production level and as a post purchase OTC product spray which is PFOS free and doesn’t cause the fabric to yellow or stiffen.
