Overview: The exhibition explores the story telling traditions and vernacular picture making that has its roots across Bengal and Jharkhand. The showcase features works of renowned artists including artist Jamini Roy and Ramkinker Baij, expect to see the local artforms like Pattachitra and Santhal traditions. The exhibition also reflects on the mill produced paper and how it influenced the image making traditions back then.

Overview: This group exhibition is organised by artists Tom Burckhardt and Sameer Kulavoor featuring ten contemporary artists from India and the United States. These artists create their drawings, collages, photos, and films slowly and bit by bit, focusing on the daily process of making art rather than just the final product. Using simple, everyday materials and working on a small scale, their combined artwork sparks a powerful conversation across different cultures that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Overview: Curated by creative consultant Supriya David,This exhibition features the work of seven artists across India, Bhutan, Oman and the broader South Asian diaspora. The showcase is an exploration of identity, memory and the female gaze, which is completely free from cliche feminist labels. Drawing from Indian philosophy and mythology, the artworks map out the emotional architecture of what it means to navigate the world as a woman today.

Overview: This solo exhibition by Chandigarh-based artist Raj Kishor Gupta is curated by renowned art critic and curator Uma Nair. The exhibition will also feature portraits of the artist by photographer Avani Rai.

Overview: This is a solo exhibition by contemporary Bhutanese artist Zimbiri. The artist dives into the concept of human identity, on how we inherit it and build it based on new environments as we go on to live in new places. She uses the local raw materials in her artworks where one can notice a recurring occurrence of tigers and deers as the main storytellers. If you love art that makes you pause and think, this is an incredibly thought provoking one to watch out for.

Overview: This solo exhibition by emerging contemporary artist Rohit Suresh Varekar anchors around the themes of memory, migration and ecology and cultural continuity through reclaimed architectural fragments salvaged from Konkan region of Maharashtra after the devastating floods in the region that reshaped the landscape of Konkan.

Overview: The showcase curated by Gayatri Sinha, the exhibit unpacks how Indian art history has viewed holy figures and spiritual devotion through centuries. Overview: In this solo exhibition by visual artist Sumit Sarkar, he takes the ordinary household objects we know like worn pillows, mattresses and folded fabrics, and uses them as tools for emotional story telling, where the creases and stains each are symbolic of love, loss and healing. Sumit also frequently uses fragmented mythological figures in his artworks, metaphorically bridging our inner private world with the shared cultural history.

Overview: In his new solo exhibition, photographer and multidisciplinary artist Sohrab Hura juxtaposes several of his defining visual projects. It’s an eye-opening collection that ultimately questions the familiar, exposing the deeper societal structures and quiet deceptions we often overlook.

Overview: This exhibit marks artist Sayanee Sarkar’s debut solo show. In her showcase, she moves away from the heavy artistic theory for a gentler, more intimate look at the human body. By placing these soft, blurred shapes in quiet spaces without any defining context, the forms act as an open invitation, giving viewers the freedom to project their own relationships and experiences onto each piece.

Overview: This showcase is a solo exhibition by the Indian-American artist Sangram Majumdar. His compositions play on the theatrical or cinematic concept of a ‘bad actor’ loosely translating to an immoral figure, featuring a series of fragmented oil paintings depicting human-like shapes, animal hybrids, demonic faces and staring eyes that are moving in and out of lines. His seemingly unfinished artworks force the viewers and challenges them to decide and separate the ‘actor’ from ‘character’ and figure out the story themselves.

Overview: This is Ashvita’s first exhibition at its newly launched white cube gallery space in Chennai by artist duo Thukral and Tagra. The showcase builds on their ongoing project Arboratum, the theme of which centers around the journey through communities through trees, memory and living archives. This time, they are shifting the focus from nature to the digital world through hundreds of painted canvases populated with abstract data shapes and exploring how our real life moments get simply chopped up into pixels. This exhibition can be viewed by prior appointment.

Overview: This exhibition is based on the book Chola Maati: Pardhan Gond Rituals From Birth to Death, features artwork by contemporary Gond artist Mayank Shyam, photography by Komal Bedi Sohal and writing by Padmaja Srivastava. It is an immersive exhibition where you experience and discover the music and traditions of Patangarh’s Pardhan-Gond community in Madhya Pradesh.

Overview: This centenary retrospective for the legendary artist Tyeb Mehta in collaboration with Tyeb Mehta Foundation and Saffron Art Foundation is curated by Roobina Karode. The exhibit features over 120 works spanning five decades, the show looks at how the legendary artist processed the trauma of partition and human suffering. It tracks his most famous, gut-wrenching motifs like his fractured diagonal canvases, flailing falling figures, and struggling bulls while offering a glimpse of his restless creative process through personal diaries, early sketches, and his 1970 experimental film, Koodal.

Overview: Curated by Vishal K Dar, with Tsering Motup Siddho, and sprawled across 230 km at eight outdoor locations, Ladakh is about to host its very first biennale. ‘sā’ translates to ‘soil’ in Ladakhi, which forms a conceptual theme of the exhibition, with climate, community and culture as its pillars. The showcase will feature contemporary art and installations designed by local artists alongside international artists. This is definitely one to look forward to considering Ladakh’s interesting topography- its captivating terrains, the climate, and its rugged awe-striking beauty.

Overview: A rare exhibition by noted Japanese textile artist and weaver Chiaki Maki, marks her third showcase in India. In 2012, she established the Ganga Maki Studio, a sustainably built craft commune nestled at the Indian foothills of Himalayas near Dehradun in Bhogpur. This collection charts her artistic evolution from wearable and home textiles to profound conceptual art, embracing the quiet power of slow, natural processes and raw human craftsmanship.
