Come rain, shine or winter, Asian Paints’ new bedding collection ensures you have what it takes to create a season-suited bedroom simply by changing your sheets
Thanks to over a 400-strong bedsheet collection offered by Asian Paints, changing your bedroom décor based on seasonal changes is now a quick fix. The inaugural collection was launched in September last year; since then, there have been a number of new launches in 2023 with a wide variety to choose from. We have mined the collection to offer you a broad roadmap of styles and shades for all seasons. So, take a look and pick the ones you love best.
It can be wet and gloomy, sure, but a welcome relief right after a scorcher of a summer. If you’re worried about the grey and gloomy vibe outdoors entering your homes, particularly your bedrooms, then that’s easily handled. We recommend opting for any of these routes to elevate your room:
If you follow the ‘less is more’ rule, then vibrant hues for bedsheets are just what your room needs.
● The chevron-patterned Fossil bedsheet from Ador’s ‘Avery’ series is a good bet.
● For the boldly vibrant look, go with Desert Sun from the Ador ‘Nova’ range.
● A solid single-colour option is Royale’s ‘Red Violet’ to amp up the space.
Add contemporary character to your space, with some abstract or geometric patterned sheets.
● Opt for Royale’s vibrantly patterned blue-and-green bedsheet from the ‘Parker’ range.
● Or there’s ‘Kyra’ blush-coloured abstract design to complement the season.
● A bright blue in interesting abstracts, like Ocean Floor from Ador’s ‘Mabel’ series won’t go wrong.
Rains are a great source of inspiration for bedsheet choices with all of nature in bloom.
● Try out the Mineral Green from Royale ‘Chloe’ series.
● Royale’s ‘Lilah’ collection, with its floral motifs against a wine-coloured backdrop scores high.
For the winter season, here are options to temper your bedroom in inviting colours to tamp down on the chill.
1. Monochromes
If you appreciate the classics, then try on the black-and-white options.
2. Earthy Solids
There’s something comforting about earth-toned shades that offset the cold outside. Think rust oranges, mustard yellows, maroons and olive greens…
3. Ethnic Prints
Go conventional within your modern home for some warmth and familiarity.
It’s that time of the year when you can add a profusion of colour, patterns, prints and motifs to your bedroom to complement all that natural light.
Light colours add a breezy and refreshing look to the bedroom.
● Consider Royale’s violet tulle colour from the ‘Freya’ series.
● It also comes in a pretty russet orange option.
● Then there’s Royale’s Cocoon in a yellow reminiscent of mellow sunlight.
Nothing evokes a sense of tranquillity like icy blues, frosty pinks and soothing lavenders to play up the cool quotient.
● Go for the lavender-coloured bedsheet from Ador’s ‘Kenzie’ series.
● Royale’s Aqua Gray is another alternative.
● There’s also the frost grey from the ‘Ellie’ series.
Get some nature-centric patterns into your bedroom.
● ‘Ellie’ from the Royale collection is a perfect fit.
● Else, there’s Royale’s ‘Haze’ series with a diffused multi-hued green-scape.
● Alternatively, Royale’s ‘Floracheck’ series is all vibrant reds and greys to celebrate the season.
Then there are the colours that work in any season, whose appeal transcends styles and preferences.
You can’t go wrong with whites, creams and the like.
Grey is getting quite the reputation among homeowners; it’s subtle and versatile and works in any kind of decor.
3. The Neutrals
They’re the default and they always work.
